The Indian batswoman Harmanpreet Kaur seems to be enjoying her time off the field. Harmanpreet posted her pictures as a makeup artist is fine-tuning things up on social media. She hogged a lot of limelight after her blistering innings of 171* against Australia in the World Cup semi-final that took the team home. After checking out the pictures she has shared, her fans are wondering what the dashing batswoman is gearing up for.
As far as the captions are to be believed, it suggests that she is getting ready for a shoot. The Indian team reached the final of the mega event and almost clinched the title only to lose it by 9 runs. But they already had won the hearts of millions of fans with their performance throughout the tournament.
India Women’s team hailed all over the country
The Indian team has been busy since they have come back from England after a heroic performance in the World Cup. On their return home, they have already been felicitated by many including the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and the celebrations are still going on.
Recently, only a fortnight ago, Mumbai Cricket Association organised a felicitation ceremony for the cricketers at the Garware Club. The Indian Women’s cricket team vice-captain Harmanpreet got emotional during the event and acknowledged all the love and appreciation being showered upon them by the people of the country. She also recalled how the former captain and current Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (C0A) member Diana Edulji encouraged her to give her best when she was struggling for runs prior to hitting form.
Harmanpreet posted different pictures of her make up session and her shoot. One of her Instagram posts read, “Shoot mode on!” which confirms the cricketer is shooting these days. Her fans too have liked her pictures and have showered love and support for her in reply.
While it is heartening to see that finally the Women cricketers are being recognised in the country, now it is will be more fun and responsibility for cricketers to keep fans engaged with consistent performances.
