Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has cleared that he doesn’t mind the skipper Sarfraz Ahmed shouting at him on the field during the game. The bowler is currently ranked number 1 in ODI cricket and is destined to reach greater heights the way his bowling is shaping up. He was instrumental in his team winning Champions Trophy in June which has taken the cricket in the country to another level. However, Hasan Ali also feels that none of the players would be feeling bad of their captain shouting at them for lapses in the field.

Sarfraz Ahmed is often seen losing his calmness while fielding whenever his players make a mistake. During the series against World XI especially, he was annoyed with the fielding lapses and incorrect throws from his fielders and didn’t shy from showing his disappointment to them right away. The former cricketers have already advised him not to lose his demeanour while leading the side.

I want to win 2019 World Cup for Pakistan

Hasan Ali, in an interview with Sky Sports, revealed that he enjoys his skipper shouting at him after making a mistake and also cleared that it helps him stay focused. “I honestly like it when he shouts at me as that motivates me and I’m sure it’s the same for the other players also. Sarfaraz shouting isn’t really him getting angry at us, it’s actually his way of reminding us that we need to keep our focus, not lose concentration and make sure that we are on our game. I enjoy him shouting at me and don’t mind it at all,” he said.

“I enjoy life, I enjoy cricket and I enjoy being out there playing cricket in front of thousands in the stadium, with millions watching around the world. I see myself as a performer, an entertainer and a cricketer,” he continued. Hasan credited the team management and his family along with the friends in him becoming the No. 1 bowler in World cricket.

“I think the team management deserves most of the praise and also my captain and teammates. My family, and especially my brother, also deserve praise. He always believed in me and without his support I wouldn’t be playing international cricket today. You cannot do something like this on your own; you have to have the support of colleagues around you, and their support has been magnificent. I have to pinch myself whenever I see the rankings list and see myself above such great names,” the number 1 bowler in ODIs said.

The 23-year-old youngster also expressed his wish about winning the World Cup in 2019 for his country and wants to be the highest wicket-taker in that tournament. “I want to continue in the same way that I have been playing for the last year or so and to maintain these high standards. I want to build on the good start I have had in my international career and not let my form dip at all. I want to win the 2019 World Cup and be the highest wicket-taker and the player of the tournament there,” Hasan Ali concluded.
