Shoaib Malik is one of those Pakistani cricketers who shares a very good bond with the Indian cricketers. The batting all-rounder is very friendly in nature and hence the Indian cricketers as well admire him a lot. Malik, who is married to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, was blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday.

He shared the same news on Twitter and seemed to be quite excited. “Excited to announce: Its a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled #BabyMirzaMalik,” wrote the middle-order batsman. Further, just a few hours after the baby’s birth, Malik also revealed his name. The child is named ‘Izhaan’.

Since then, he and his wife have been flooded with wishes all over the social media. Cricketers, friends and well-wishers congratulated the couple. Malik has been busy thanking everyone for the wishes. Discarded orthodox left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha was one of those who congratulated Malik on Twitter.

In his witty tweet, Ojha first congratulated the couple. Then, he took a witty dig, only in good intentions though. He asked if the new-born would be a cricketer or a tennis player. However, in the same tweet, he also wrote that he was just kidding and gave his blessings to the child.

“Congratulations @MirzaSania and @realshoaibmalik for the baby boy. Have we got a cricketer or a tennis player? Just kidding… godbless!,” wrote the 32-year-old.

Shoaib Malik had a very optimistic reply to this tweet. He wrote that he wants his son to be both a cricketer and a tennis player. He also thanked Pragyan Ojha for the wishes and graces.
