With only three days remaining in the commencement of most fancy league of the year, the Indian Premier League, players are talking about their forms and fitness. In the same context, Mumbai Indians star all-rounder Hardik Pandya says that he has accepted the very fact that injuries are going to be part of his life. He added that he had to accept them and then strive to perform better in the coming times.

The 26-year-old believes that injuries have only pushed him to come back tougher and perform better. Pandya remained out of many series owing to his different kinds of injuries but is now learning to live with them. The Indian all-rounder’s form will be too essential for his squad Mumbai Indians, in the upcoming mega event, starting September 19 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“In my life, I have realised one thing that injuries would be with me. No one wants to get injured, but I accept the fact that what I do, injuries will be a part. Injuries have always kept me going, always kept me motivated, actually taught me how much I have to put in the hard yards and the hard work has always increased, never decreased,” stated Pandya in a video posted by Mumbai Indians on Twitter.

The Gujarat lad added that he and his brother Krunal Pandya are lucky enough to have a gym at their home. Having such a facility right in one’s comfort space pushes one to work for one’s fitness, and in the due course, a person is able to level up his fitness because of the same.

“Luckily, me and Krunal had the privilege of having a gym at home, so because of that portion, we were able to focus on our fitness. I have always believed that if you become much fitter than what you were previously, I think you can increase your skill level and adapt to lots of things which you have never seen before,” Pandya added.

The MI star accepted the fact that he is in a great mental space right now, which will only help him to give the best for his franchise in the coming IPL.
