Former Australian pacer Glenn McGrath has gone ahead and stated the Sachin Tendulkar and his batting record will certainly remain intact despite the many suitors that are present at the moment who may attempt to tip-toe their way past the Indian batting legend. The ‘Little Master’, as Sachin is fondly known has more runs and centuries to his name than anyone else who has played international cricket.

Of course, one would certainly point the finger at the fact that Tendulkar’s career stretched upwards of two decades, but what it also signifies is that he had only been getting better and better until of course he was forced to take the executive decision to hang up his boots, much to the dismay of those who had supported him for much of his career.

However, at the end of it all, it essentially comes down to a debate on who should be the one to surpass Tendulkar. Many of the Indian fans believe that it should be Virat Kohli while a few also reckon that Alastair Cook could be one of the magic boys to do the same. However, as far as McGrath is concerned, Tendulkar and his record are simply untouchable at the moment.

Since his blistering form with the bat in recent times, Virat Kohli has been compared to Sachin Tendulkar for the most part. The manner in which Kohli racks up the runs coupled with his fool-proof innings while either playing Test or ODI cricket is something phenomenal to say the least.
