'I made you captain of my fantasy'- James Neesham gives a hilarious reply to his upset fan

James Neesham, the prolific all-rounder from New Zealand is one of the most active players on social media. On numerous occasions, he has been spotted responding to his fans and he always comes up with his own opinions over a specific matter of concern. Sometimes, he gets trolled for the same but this time he came up with hilarious and cheeky response to a fan that left everyone in splits.

The social media in today’s world has turned out to be a place where the followers can directly interact with their favourite players. 29-year-old Neesham is one of the mainstays in the limited-overs format for the Kiwis. He was also the part of the squad that travelled to play World Cup 2019 in England. In the mega-event, the Kiwis reached the finals but failed to cross the winning line against the hosts in a thrilling encounter.

But, the left arm seaming all-rounder had a great match with the ball and the bat. Neesham scored 25 runs off 19 balls with three wickets. However, he has failed to leave his mark in the longer format due to which his last appearance in whites for New Zealand came in 2017.

Recently, a fan blamed James Neesham for costing lots of points in the fantasy team. According to the fan, he had not only picked the player in his side but also appointed him as the skipper. But, Neesham didn’t play the game due to which he had to suffer a loss in the game. His tweet read, “@JimmyNeesh yesterday I made you Captain in my fantasy cricket contest and you didn’t bowl a single over forget about batting. Please inform next time before the match,”

Soon, Neesham came with a hilarious response saying that he made the fan as the skipper of his fantasy things that helped the all-rounder to earn 5 trillion points. His post said: “That’s amazing coz I made you the captain of my fantasy things-I-don’t-care-about team and you earned me 5 trillion points,” Kiwi player responded in a hilarious fashion.
