I want to play for Indian says IPLs teen sensation Sarfaraz Khan: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have found another teen sensation for the team after skipper Virat Kohli; someone who shows utmost promise of making himself a big name in the cricketing Universe. Its the 17 years old Mumbai batsman Sarfaraz Khan, who is also the youngest player in the history of the league. Sarfaraz with a blazing knock against the Rajasthan Royals, an innings studded with 6 fours and a six announced himself with a bang.

In the end proved to be a match winning one, when asked about his plans and the way he would like to shape up his career with the IPL Sarfaraz said, “Mandeep Singh, Sanju Samson, Kuldeep Singh have all done well after playing well in the IPL. I also want to use this platform to be selected for the Indian team. I will try to also be in the team for the forthcoming Under-19 World Cup,”

Sarfaraz said he feels fortunate to be able to play alongside AB de Villiers who also happens to be his favorite cricketer and also said that RCB coach Daniel Vettori has encouraged and supported him.

“AB de Villiers is my favourite player. AB always gives me all the tips. When I am nervous, he comes over and talks to me. It feels good when such a big player comes and speaks. Coach (Daniel Vettori) also supported me and encouraged me. He told me not to think too much, but to play my natural game,”

It was his innings a fearless knock of 45* off just 21 balls that took RCB to 200 in 20 over’s which certainly looked out of reach after the early departure of openers Chris Gayle and skipper Kohli. What was going through his mind during that phase in the innings? He said, “Despite the early loss of wickets, we hit a plan to play all 20 overs with a plan, and somebody needs to be till the 20th over. I grabbed this role – a ruse which helped us get 200 runs on the board. I got a lot of confidence from that knock, and I hope to do better for myself and my team,”
