Match Details:

The 12th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Final 2019 will be played between Bermuda and Cayman Islands at the White Hill Field in Sandys Parish, Hamilton.

The match starts at 3:30 PM local time (12:00 PM IST) (6:30 PM GMT).

Preview:

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Final comes to a conclusion on Sunday evening when the hosts Bermuda will face the Cayman Islands at the White Hill Field. Bermuda defeated the United States of America (USA) twice in the tournament to qualify for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers. However, they failed to beat the other qualifying team, Canada in this competition.

The first game ended in a washout when Bermuda were one over away from a defeat. Canada thumped them on Saturday by a huge margin. They are now favourites to finish as the tournament toppers after boosting their NRR. Bermuda will need a huge win to finish as No.1 if the USA can stun Canada in the afternoon match. The Cayman Islands continue their aim of winning their first International match.

Weather Condition/Report:

The weather forecast suggests scattered thunderstorms throughout the final day of the tournament. Saturday did have a similar forecast, especially in the afternoon. However, the rain came down only between the two matches and did not interrupt any of the two games.

Pitch Condition/Report:

Compared to the National Stadium, the White Hill Field pitch is slightly quicker. With three days gap and rain in between, the White Hill Field is expected to play better. Teams batting first could be aiming 150 as a winning score.
