Match Details:

The 4th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Final 2019 will be played between the Cayman Islands and United States of America (USA) at the National Stadium in Hamilton.

The match starts at 3:00 PM local time (11:30 PM IST) (6:00 PM GMT).

Preview:

The United States of America (USA) had every reason to be disappointed after their defeat to Bermuda on Sunday. They fell six runs short of Bermuda’s total in the opening game of the Americas Region Final for the T20 World Cup qualifiers. Bermuda was playing their first T20I match in more than ten years and haven’t played much against big teams prior to the tournament.

The USA now has to catch up Canada and Bermuda by beating the two in the remaining matches. They will now take on the Cayman Islands in the 2nd match on this tournament. The Cayman Islands made their International debut on Sunday against Canada. However, the game didn’t go as they expected as Ravinderpaul Singh’s century pushed Canada’s total to 196/6. They won it by a big 84-run margin.

Weather Condition/Report:

The weather in Sandys Parish is predicted to be dry on Sunday. There could be showers in the morning but the skies are expected to be cleared by the afternoon. Humid conditions could be seen on Monday with the temperatures reading a maximum of 29° Celsius, little less than on Sunday.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The pitch for the 2nd match of the day is usually expected to be on the slower side with sunny striking the play area. However, Canada posted a huge total on a used track but it could be due to the inexperience of the Cayman Islands.
