Match Details:

The 8th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Final 2019 will be played between Bermuda and United States of America (USA) at the White Hill Field in Sandys Parish, Hamilton.

The match starts at 3:30 PM local time (12:00 PM IST) (6:30 PM GMT).

Preview:

Bermuda remained unbeaten after playing three matches in the Regional Final T20 tournament similar to that of Canada. They defeated USA and Cayman Islands. Their game against Canada was fortunate enough for Bermuda to be washed out as they were one over away from a defeat. Delray Rawlins’s performances with bat and ball have been the driving force behind the home team’s success.

Bermuda will now take on the United States of America (USA) who are struggling to find consistency. USA and Canada were deemed to qualify for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers from this tournament. However, the defeat against Bermuda in the tournament opener is denting those expectations. USA defeated Cayman Islands to register their maiden T20I win but lost to Canada in a thriller on Wednesday.

Weather Condition/Report:

Going by the weather forecast, it would be quite tough to get a full 20-over match. Thunderstorms with rain is expected from Thursday morning in Sandys Parish. However, the ground conditions are better in Sandys Parish compared to that of National Stadium. It is the reason why the remaining matches to be played in National Stadium have been shifted to Sandys Parish.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The tracks in White Hill Field seem to be getting better for batting as the day progress. The scores are seen a raise I the afternoon matches at this venue. The stickiness in the morning game is expected to disappear by the 2nd game of the day.
