Indo Bulgarian CC shared an intense rivalry along with the Academia Medical University Sofia in the last year’s competition where the two teams ended being ranked one and two during the league phases. Unfortunately, neither of the teams ended up winning the competition. 

On one hand, Medical University Sofia found themselves losing the semis and entering the Bronze medal match. They, however, won that accolade. On the other hand, Indo Bulgarian CC lost the final to MU Dons. Both the teams had won six and lost matches during the league phases of the last year’s competition.
