India is currently up against New Zealand on day three of the second Test of the two-match series in Mumbai. While India was up against the guests in the 2nd innings, a four by young batter Shubman Gill stole the show due to certain reasons.

It has to be noted while Gill was up on the crease, he smashed Tim Southee for a four, and Mumbai crowd started chanting ‘Sachin Sachin.’ It is known for all that Sachin Tendulkar has an unreal fan following in the world of cricket and it gets manifold when the action comes to his home ground, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

However, this particular incident is being attributed to the reports that Gill and Tendulkar’s daughter Sara are dating each other. Though no official confirmation has come from any one of them on any occasion, their social media activities drop a little hint to their dating rumours.

Here’s how the crowd chanted after Shubman Gill’s four

Talking of Shubman Gill, he played a fine knock in the 1st innings of the Mumbai Test too where he smashed 44 runs. However, he is currently up on the crease alongside skipper Virat Kohli and playing on 17 runs (at the time of writing this article). India had a fine start to the Mumbai Test where Mayank Agarwal played dreamy innings of 150 runs which pushed India to post 325 runs on board.

Ajaz Patel turned out to be the one-man bowling show from New Zealand who picked all the 10 wickets in an innings by becoming the only third bowler in the world to do so. However, Patel’s heroics weren’t reciprocated by his team batters as they had a severe collapse when they walked to bat.

The entire visiting side got wrapped up on just 62 runs but India avoided enforcing the follow-on and came up to utilize their batting time. They are currently moving up with a lead of 405 runs (at time of writing) and it remains to be seen if they will be able to clinch the series.
