India bounced back in some style against the visiting Australian team after suffering at their hands in the first Test at Pune. Virat Kohli and co. have put the critics past them after a fabulous teamwork resulted in a massive win for the Team India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

They now need to tinker a few things in terms of their batting technique against the Australian spinners and in the bowling department as well. The bowlers need to find their lengths consistently which will put the Australian batsmen under consistent trouble.

For Australia, they must pick up the right combinations after the defeat at Bengaluru in the hands of Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. The loss of Mitch Marsh and Mitch Starc to injuries would put the Aussie skipper in a spot of bother. It would be interesting to see how India line-up for this Test as Kohli has always made a change or two in the playing XI. Here is CricTracker’s predicted eleven for the Ranchi Test.

KL Rahul

After his performance in the Bengaluru Test last week, his place in the Indian team is all set. He emerged as the dependable one in the last two matches at the top of the order.

Rahul topped his Test performance at Pune with a well-made 90 in the first innings at Bengaluru and followed it up with an aggressive 51 in the second. He comes as an automatic selection in this squad due to his performances in the first two Tests.
