The India v England ODI series seems to be at producing some huge scores as the 2nd ODI at Cuttack too saw both the sides score 350+ scores. The visitors asked India to bat first and the decision seemed to be working as the hosts were reduced to 25/3 only to be lifted by a brilliant stand by Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni pair, who scored centuries and took India to a total of 381/6.

Despite putting on all their efforts in the game, England fell 15 runs short and lost the series 2-0 with one more game to be played in this 3-match ODI series. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.

10 – Number of century stands in ODIs for Dhoni-Yuvraj pair. Their team won in all the 10 games. Only Greenidge-Haynes (15) and Ponting-Clarke (11) pairs have more century stands in ODIs with all of them coming in wins than the India pair.

80 – Balls taken by Eoin Morgan for his century in this game, the joint fastest ODI century by an England player against India. Marcus Trescothick also took 80 balls for his ton in 2002 at Kolkata. Both these tons have ended in unsuccessful run-chases.
