Jasprit Bumrah, at the age of 23, showed great maturity to become the spearhead of the Mumbai bowling attack which already had the likes of Malinga and Harbhajan Singh. For a change, Malinga had a completely off season and was one of the most expensive bowler of the tournament. But Bumrah made sure that did not affect the team dynamics and performed to his potential in almost every game.

Bumrah claimed 20 wickets in 16 innings and was economical as well. He executed his yorkers with utter ease and made the life of the batsmen difficult. The way he bowled in the final was a testimony of how he has bowled the whole season. He played a vital role in Mumbai Indians winning their third title. He is the crucial player for India in champions trophy and fans would hope he performs in the same way as he did in the IPL.
