Team India skipper Virat Kohli recently met the popular Indian wrestler The Great Khali. Kohli was quick to share a couple of pictures of him being with the iconic Indian wrestler. He posted the pictures on his social media handles. Kohli looked in awe of the WWE superstar when he caught up with him. The Indian captain added a caption along with the two pictures that he shared on the social media.

He remarked that it was great to meet The Great Khali. He expressed his amazement and awe for him in the tweet. He wrote, “It was Great to meet The Great Khali, what a guy!”. It still remains to be an unknown fact about where the two iconic sportsperson met each other. Apparently, they had a good dinner or lunch time as well. The backdrop of the pictures suggest the same.

Also, it comes as no surprising fact that the two must have met each other in Sri Lanka. Virat Kohli is currently leading the Indian cricket team in the tour to Sri Lanka. Team India registered an emphatic win over the hosts in the second Test match. With the win, the Indian team has now managed to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match Test series.

On stranger tides

Talking about the Great Khali, the wrestler had garnered immense popularity a decade ago after making his WWE debut. With time, his name and fame dwindled. He recently made a comeback appearance in the WWE. He helped his fellow Ind0-Canadian wrestler Jinder Mahal retain his WWE Championship.

It was the Punjabi Prison match in the WWE monthly major event, when The Great Khali intervened in the title championship match to help Jinder Mahal win the match against Randy Orton. It needs to be seen if he stages another comeback sometime soon.
