The ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) promises to be a bigger and a better affair than the previous editions. However, the response that the tournament has been getting in the season at the stadiums is far from being impressive. The modern day cricket is all about the shortest format of the game. The emergence and the success of the T20 leagues is just a testimonial of the same.

Now, with one tournament going on, it is obvious that the comparisons of it would be made with the other T20 leagues. And when it comes to comparing a T20 league with another one, then the Indian Premier League is often seen as the benchmark for comparison. Over the years, the IPL has become one of the most successful cricket tournaments in the world, let along in India.

But it is a very well known fact that the Pakistani players are not allowed to feature in the competition. Hence, when the PSL arrived, the Pakistani fans went gaga over it. They knew they had a reason to hit back at the Indian fans on the social media who have often trolled them.

And this year, when the opening ceremony of the PSL was a big hit, the Pakistani fans started trolling the Indian fans and the IPL on the social media sites. However, the times seem to have changed. Soon, the same stadium was jam-packed at in the opening ceremony, became a deserted spot during the matches. The Indian fans found an ideal way to troll back the Pakistani fans and the PSL.
