Indian leg spinner Karan Sharma ruled out of the Zimbabwe tour: Indian leg spinner Karan Sharma, who was earlier named in the squad for the tour to Zimbabwe has been ruled out of the series owing to a finger injury.
Karn, who has represented the national side in a Test and two ODIs, fractured his left middle finger, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed in a media release. The Press Release on bcci.tv read: “The BCCI medical team confirms that leg-spinner Karn Sharma has been ruled out of India’s tour of Zimbabwe, starting on 7 July 2015, due to injury. Karn has fractured his left middle finger. There will be no replacement for him for the Zimbabwe tour,”
