After becoming the highest run scorer of IPL 2014 and scoring consistently in domestic cricket, Robin would consider himself unlucky for not getting picked in the World Cup 2015 team. There was a toss-up between Ambati Rayudu and Robin Uthappa for the back-up wicket keeper spot and Rayudu because of his recent international performance got the nod.

Manish Pandey has been scoring runs consistently from the past few years and who can forget his famous knock in the IPL final but it seems selectors doesn’t think he is ready to represent India in the World Cup.

Manoj Tiwary is termed as the most unlucky cricketer as either he gets injured when he is selected while the other irony is that he was dropped from the Indian ODI team even after scoring a hundred.  He is the Amol Muzumdar successor who has been hammering tons of runs in domestic cricket with very little appraisal.

This Maharashtra boy Kedar Jhadav is touted to be the next generation cricketer of our country as he is been considered one of the most talented cricketers in our domestic circuit so surely he will get his chance in the future but not in this World Cup.

<li>Wriddhiman Saha</li>

Wriddhiman Saha has been traveling as a back-up wicket keeper with the Indian team from the past 3-4 years and is rated as the best Wicket-Keeper in India but since Ambati Rayudu can keep meant team does not require the 2nd back-up wicket keeper. And thus was not considered for selection.

Sanju Samson is too inexperience to be considered for a tournament like the World Cup but he is certainly a player for the future. Though not the World Cup 2015, the 20 years old will have opportunities coming his way to prove his metal in the future.

It would have been a call between Umesh yadav and Varun Aaron for that spot of genuine pace bowler in the team. Yadav’s better control and his recent performance would have favored the decision in his favor. While Aarons’ leaking away too many runs and loosening up the pressure went against his favor.

Mohit Sharma’s inclusion in the Tri series meant he was very close to getting a place in the World Cup squad but selectors went for the more experience Ishant Sharma instead of him. His presence in Australia will also mean that in case some other bowler misses out or falls for an injury Mohit will be in a position to replace them.

Dhawal Kulkarni was also in the reckoning till the last moment but again decision to pick a seam bowling all rounder instead of a pure bowler meant Mumbai pacer has to miss out from the team. He is also a part of the tri-series team.

Amit Mishra bowled exceedingly well in the last ODI match which he played against West Indies but Axar Patel’s stellar performance with the ball and his batting prowess meant Mishra has to miss out.

Karn was unlucky to miss out as only 3 spinners can be picked in team but considering he is a leg spinner and can make handy contribution in lower order; selectors would have definitely pondered over his name but in the end could not make the edge.

Kuldeep Yadav is the only Chinaman bowler that India has ever produced but he is too young right now to be named in the World cup team. And more over the World Cup demands a lot more than just talent you need to be ready for the challenges the highest level of the game brings up to you.

With Ravichandran Ashwin as the main off spinner in the team there was very little chance for any other off spinner to be picked. Rasool despite of solid domestic performances was not given a huge consideration as Ashwin is an obvious choice for the team.

Karn was unlucky to miss out as only 3 spinners can be picked in team but considering he is a leg spinner and can make handy contribution in lower order; selectors would have definitely pondered over his name but in the end could not make the edge.

Kuldeep Yadav is the only Chinaman bowler that India has ever produced but he is too young right now to be named in the World cup team. And more over the World Cup demands a lot more than just talent you need to be ready for the challenges the highest level of the game brings up to you.

With Ravichandran Ashwin as the main off spinner in the team there was very little chance for any other off spinner to be picked. Rasool despite of solid domestic performances was not given a huge consideration as Ashwin is an obvious choice for the team.

Ashok Dinda’s performance in domestic cricket has been terrific but he has failed to replicate his domestic heroics at the international level this is the reason why selectors did not show faith in him.

Indian Players that missed out from World Cup 2015 Team: Indian squad to defend the their World Cup title was announced today and everyone is talking about the<a title="The 15 member Indian Cricket Team for ICC World Cup 2015" href="http://www.crictracker.com/the-15-member-indian-cricket-team-for-icc-world-cup-2015/" target="_blank"> 15 names which are selected</a>, no one has spared time to talk about those 15 unfortunate names that were in probable but could not make it to final 15. Let’s look at those 15 unlucky players that were so close to book their tickets to Australia but failed at the last moment.

After becoming the highest run scorer of IPL 2014 and scoring consistently in domestic cricket, Robin would consider himself unlucky for not getting picked in the World Cup 2015 team. There was a toss-up between Ambati Rayudu and Robin Uthappa for the back-up wicket keeper spot and Rayudu because of his recent international performance got the nod.

Manish Pandey has been scoring runs consistently from the past few years and who can forget his famous knock in the IPL final but it seems selectors doesn’t think he is ready to represent India in the World Cup.

Manoj Tiwary is termed as the most unlucky cricketer as either he gets injured when he is selected while the other irony is that he was dropped from the Indian ODI team even after scoring a hundred.  He is the Amol Muzumdar successor who has been hammering tons of runs in domestic cricket with very little appraisal.

This Maharashtra boy Kedar Jhadav is touted to be the next generation cricketer of our country as he is been considered one of the most talented cricketers in our domestic circuit so surely he will get his chance in the future but not in this World Cup.

Wriddhiman Saha has been traveling as a back-up wicket keeper with the Indian team from the past 3-4 years and is rated as the best Wicket-Keeper in India but since Ambati Rayudu can keep meant team does not require the 2nd back-up wicket keeper. And thus was not considered for selection.

Sanju Samson is too inexperience to be considered for a tournament like the World Cup but he is certainly a player for the future. Though not the World Cup 2015, the 20 years old will have opportunities coming his way to prove his metal in the future.

It would have been a call between Umesh yadav and Varun Aaron for that spot of genuine pace bowler in the team. Yadav’s better control and his recent performance would have favored the decision in his favor. While Aarons’ leaking away too many runs and loosening up the pressure went against his favor.

Mohit Sharma’s inclusion in the Tri series meant he was very close to getting a place in the World Cup squad but selectors went for the more experience Ishant Sharma instead of him. His presence in Australia will also mean that in case some other bowler misses out or falls for an injury Mohit will be in a position to replace them.

Dhawal Kulkarni was also in the reckoning till the last moment but again decision to pick a seam bowling all rounder instead of a pure bowler meant Mumbai pacer has to miss out from the team. He is also a part of the tri-series team.
