Ace South African speedster Dale Steyn is not the part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season. However, being out of action has not kept him away from the game. He has often ensured to make his presence felt through his constant updates on the social media. He is surely following the IPL 2017. Recently, the speedster came up with a suggestion for the Kolkata Knight Riders in one of his tweets.

The Knight Riders are known for their energy on the field. They rarely miss the chances that they get and at times have grabbed some stunners on the field too. However, during their recent match against the Kings XI Punjab at Kolkata, the fans saw an absolute sitter being dropped. The action perspired in the third over of the match. Trent Boult bowled the fifth ball of the over that rose up to the batsman Manan Vohra.

Vohra, who was already riding on his luck on the day, flashed hard at the shot. All that he could manage to get was a thick outside edge. The ball flew to the third man region. Sunil Narine was perfectly placed for that shot and should have pocketed the catch. However, the ball went straight in and straight out of his hands. Clearly, the KKR camp was not very pleased with the entire episode.

Dale Steyn had a piece of advice over the same for the KKR head coach. Former South African cricketer and Steyn’s former team-mate Jacques Kallis is currently the head coach of the Knight Riders. Steyn wrote on Twitter asking Kallis to perhaps take some help from his former teammate Mark Boucher. He noted that the KKR camp needs to fix the bug of fielding soon.

In his tweet, Dale Steyn wrote, “JK needs his mate @markb46 at the Ipl. Sort that fielding out quick quick.”

Whether the think tank takes his suggestion or not, remains to be seen. However, on the day, the dropped catch did not cost them too dearly. Vohra perished after scoring 28 off 19 balls in the match.
