English skipper Eoin Morgan is all excited for the 2017 edition of the Indian Premier League. He will be turning up for the Kings XI Punjab franchise this year. Last year, he was on the roster for the current champions Sunrisers Hyderabad and had performed decently well. With the change in team, there will certainly be new hopes for the English player. The Kings XI Punjab has had a tough time in the last two seasons of the IPL. They finished being the wooden spooners and hence found it absolutely necessary to draft in veteran heads like Eoin Morgan, Darren Sammy etc.

In the tournament opener, the Sunrisers Hyderabad were set to take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore at Hyderabad. A couple of hours before the match commenced, Eoin Morgan took to his official Facebook handle where he posted his excitement for the tournament opener and the entire season as well. He noted that the tournament will commence tonight and asked who all were excited for the mega event.

The post managed to garner a lot of responses as the fans flooded the post with their likes, shares, reactions and comments. While most the comments were simplistic positive and negative replies, there was one that caught the attention of all. The comment was such that it even managed to grab the eyeballs of Morgan himself. Morgan could not control his laughter after reading the comment and was forced to reply to the comment.

In the post, Morgan wrote, “Start of the IPL tonight. Who’s excited??” In response to this, the fan commented back saying the bookies would be the ones excited for the tournament. The fan commented, “The bookies”. Likes came in huge numbers for the comment. In reply to the comment, Morgan responded back with laughter emoticons.
