Coming into bat at 10/3 in a chase of 162, Stokes launched an assault in the 2nd half of the chase with required rate crossing 12 an over already.

With 6 sixes and 7 fours, he scored an unbeaten 103 off 63 balls out of the team’s total of 167/5. This win for Pune side meant that Royal Challengers Bangalore became the first team to be officially knocked out of this IPL season.
