IPL 2015: RR v MI – Statistical Report: Rajasthan Royals continued their brilliant form to register third consecutive win as Mumbai Indians finished at losing side for third consecutive time in IPL. Here, we look at the all possible stats recorded during the game.

–> Parthiv Patel, debuted for Mumbai Indians today, which is his sixth IPL team. He played for Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore in last 7 seasons.

–> Aaron Finch’s second four of the day was his 100th four in IPL so far, and he was the 38th player to do so.

Just like Finch, Kieron Pollard completed 100 fours in IPL and became the 39th player to hit 100 fours in IPL.

–> Kieron Pollard completed his 7th fifty in IPL, which was also his 25th fifty in Twenty20 format.

–> Rohit Sharma recorded his 7th duck in IPL, jointly fourth highest ducks in IPL. It was his 5th duck Mumbai Indians and for the first time recorded ducks in consecutive innings.

–> Corey Anderson scored his 3rd IPL fifty today, his second of this season. He also moved up to 4th in highest run scorers list so far in this season with 110 runs.

–> Steven Smith scored his maiden IPL fifty which was also his only 5th fifty in the T20 format. He also crossed his previous T20 best of 65 as he ended up with an unbeaten 79.

–> Steven Smith is now the Orange Cap holder as he tops the list of top run scorers in the present IPL season. He has scored 122 runs in the 3 innings he played so far.

–> Mumbai Indians, recorded their 50th defeat in IPL history, becoming the fifth team after Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders to record 50 defeats.

–> Also, it was 57th win for Rajasthan Royals in IPL, and now stands only behind Chennai Super Kings (71) and Mumbai Indians (63).

–> This was only the fourth Twenty20 fixture won by a chasing team at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera in Ahmedabad. Two of those three games came in IPL with the previous highest successfully chased total been 149 by Rajasthan Royals against Deccan Chargers.
