It is the clash between the giants. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are set to lock horns with each other at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday. The current and former Indian captains will stack up against each other and it will be a wonderful sight to watch them play. Both of them have huge respect for each other and the game was sold out way before. However, the rain gods are likely to play spoilsport in the clash of the Titans.

Virat Kohli will be eager to play a match-winning knock for his team and what better than doing it against one of the best outfits in the tournament. But the Men in Yellow are on a roll and have made it a habit now to close out games in the last over thrillers. MS Dhoni has led the side extremely well so far and his captaincy traits are coming out at the right time for his team. Though there have been injury issues CSK have managed to find a match-winner in every match.

Rain to play spoilsport

According to Accu Weather, the temperatures are hovering around 30 Degree Celsius and the thunderstorms are in spots currently. There is a chance of rain in Bangalore and the odds of heavily pouring down only increases in the lead up to the game. There will be thunderstorms between 4 PM and 6 PM and the chances of happening that are more than 50 percent. While it rains, the temperatures drop and the weather will be pleasant by the time the match will start.

Even during the course of the match, it is expected to play spoilsport albeit there are only 20 percent chances of happening that. We might be in for a long day at the Chinnaswamy Stadium as a curtailed game is on the cards.

Overall Verdict: Rain will surely play spoilsport in the match but the drainage system at the ground is excellent and the game won’t be abandoned. But it might get curtailed if there is intermittent rain.
