Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face Delhi Daredevils (DD) in their next game as they try to keep themselves alive in the tournament. While the hosts have been already knocked out, it will be interesting to see if they manage to pull the plug on their opponents tonight as well. Ferozshah Kotla Stadium is known to produce a lot of runs which Virat Kohli and Co. would like and the visitors would love to start their winning streak now. However, the weather in Delhi is also unpredictable these days which means there is always a threat of the rain in the city.
Shreyas Iyer somehow has to inspire his teammates to buck up and play the remaining matches by keeping their heads high. They can even plan a few things keeping in mind the next season as well. Meanwhile, there is more worry in the opposition camp as Virat Kohli reportedly didn’t attend the training session on Friday ahead of the game. He is unwell currently and it remains to be seen if he will participate in the game.

According to Accu Weather, the scorching heat must be troubling the players a lot and they will be thankful that the game has been scheduled in the evening. The temperatures in the capital city of India are currently hovering around 40 Degree Celsius and it will increase up to 43 Degrees as the day progresses. Interestingly, it will also become cloudy ahead of the game by 6 PM before becoming hazy for the entire duration of the match. The hotness in the air will also ease out a bit to welcome the breeze late in the night.
But there are no chances of rain whatsoever during the match and the Kotla crowd will be hoping to see the blitz of Rishabh Pant again today.
Overall Verdict: Though the game is of little significance for the home side, it is a crucial one for RCB and they will pray that the uncharacteristic weather doesn’t play its part during the match.
