IPL 2018: Sunrisers Hyderabad cannot relax as yet says Sunil Gavaskar

The Sunrisers Hyderabad have shown to the world that the presence of good bowlers can help the side to defend the lowest of scores. One may call it luck if they had done it once. But to defend low totals in back to back matches shows the quality of bowling that the team possesses. The Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab had no answers to the bowling of SRH. Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar feels that the job is not yet done and the team cannot relax and be complacent.

Cool and calm dressing room

The franchise has three legends of the game as their mentors. In Tom Moody, VVS Laxman and Muttiah Muralitharan the team has three of the coolest guys in the world of cricket. Added to that, skipper Kane Williamson provides the icing on the cake. He rarely displays his emotions on the field and knows how to take his team forward in any situation. Williamson has also ensured that the team does not miss the services of David Warner.

The batting department of Sunrisers Hyderabad hasn’t delivered and they need to take the responsibility quickly as one cannot expect bowlers to deliver in each and every game.

The likes of Manish Pandey and Shikhar Dhawan haven’t really got going and this has affected the balance of the side. SRH face RR in their next encounter and they know very well that players like Sanju Samson and Ben Stokes must be kept quite to achieve a positive result.
