2. KL Rahul – Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad are desperately in need of some good Indian cricketers and who could be better than KL Rahul? He will cause some headache as they have enough opening options. Jonny Bairstow is still pretty good to bat at number 3 or 4 and to see Rahul and Warner open would be a treat for the SRH fans. The Karnataka man previously represented the franchise in 2014 and 2015 before he was shipped out to Royal Challengers Bangalore.

He also registered over 550 runs in his last two seasons in the IPL, making him a pretty useful prospect. Sunrisers could’ve been in the top two if their middle order contributed a bit more. They were overly reliant on Warner and Bairstow to score runs, but having someone like Rahul can give them more options to work with. They can use Pandey at three, Bairstow at four, but this could come at the cost of Williamson sitting on the bench.
