The match 10 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) will see the Delhi Capitals (DC) hosting the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Feroz Shah Kotla. The visitors are in amazing form and are unbeaten after the first two matches while the Capitals defeated the Mumbai Indians in their season opener at the Wankhede and then went down against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at home.

It will take a huge effort for them to get past the Knight Riders now as the Dinesh Karthik-led side is on a rampage. But they played both their matches in front of the home crowd. This will be the team’s first away encounter and they also have a chance to register a hat-trick of victories.

As far as the head to head battle is concerned, the tourists dominate hands down. In the 23 encounters so far over the last 11 editions, the Knight Riders have won 13 matches. The Delhi franchise got better of them on the nine occasions while one game was abandoned.

How will be the weather?

The Feroz Shah Kotla will be definitely jam-packed as the fans will be excited to witness the contest. But the heavens look set to play the spoilsport. There is almost 50 percent chance of rain with the thunderstorms in the lead up to the game. Though it is likely to relent in time for the match to start, the heavenly gods will definitely open up during the proceedings in the middle.

Expect a stop-start game or rather a shortened affair at the Kotla today. Both the teams will be aware of the same and should pack their sides with the power-hitters. As far as the temperature is concerned, the rain will cool things down a lot. It will be hovering around 25 Degrees Celsius during the game and it will be cold out in the middle.
