IPL 2019: Match 48, SRH vs KXIP - Weather forecast | Hourly temperature and chances of rain

A lot will be at stake when Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) lock horns in a big clash tonight at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. With 5 wins from 11 games, both the teams have their destiny in their own hands. However, a loss in the upcoming contest will leave them at the mercy of other results and how they fare in their remaining games. Unsurprisingly, both the teams will be looking to shed their inconsistency and give their best in the forthcoming contest.

Sunrisers have struggled for consistency this season. After an impressive start that saw them win three games out of the first four, they lost their way with three losses on the trot. The last year’s runners-up bounced back by beating Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders before losing to the former and Rajasthan Royals in their last two outings. In the absence of Jonny Bairstow, Sunrisers’ batting struggled as they managed just 160 against Royals before going on to lose the game by seven wickets.

On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab are also struggling with inconsistency. They too have lost their last two games with the latest one coming at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kings XI Punjab will be hoping that their star openers Chris Gayle and KL Rahul power them to a big total again before the bowlers do the work against SRH’s batting lineup which has looked quite unimpressive this year.

With so much riding on the game, neither of the two teams would want the weather to spoil the party and fortunately for them, the signs are promising. According to AccuWeather, there are no chances of rain although the cloud cover will be in the range of 25-38% during the game time. The humidity will not be as much and the weather forecast suggests it will be in the range of 26-43% during the match. As far as the temperature is concerned, it will be in the lower 30s throughout.
