Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC) got off to winning starts in this edition’s Indian Premier League (IPL). The teams would now cross swords with each other at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi. Even as the visiting team has a better record against the Capitals at the very venue, the Super Kings need to wary of one man in order to come out trumps and that is Rishabh Pant.
The 21-year-old might have strained in international cricket, but showed no signs of nervousness against the Mumbai Indians (MI) where he raced away to a blistering 78 runs from a mere 27 balls. He didn’t die wondering and laid into the bowling right from the word go. As far as the next encounter in Delhi is concerned, he has numbers in his favour and CSK definitely needs to work out a plan.
