Rajasthan Royals will battle it out with Sunrisers Hyderabad in a very important match for both the teams. Rajasthan has been witnessing a downward slide after their 2 wins. They have lost 4 games in a row and look down and out. They seem too reliant on just a couple of batsmen and when they haven’t fired collectively, they haven’t been able to score enough runs.

Their bowling too, barring Jofra Archer, has more or less been ineffective. There seems to be a lack of coherence in their team and they will hope for a reversal in fortune with the comeback of Ben Stokes, who will lend the much needed balance to the team.

Sunrisers, on the other hand, have had a mixed tournament. With 3 wins in 6 games, they have done well despite losing the likes of Mitch Marsh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar to injury. However, they continue to possess a brittle middle order, and the day their openers don’t fire, it could be a problem for them.

Their fifth bowler quota, distributed between Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad in the last game, was taken to the cleaners  and will also be a matter of concern for them.

For your team to not have any concerns, here are 3 players you can exclude for RR vs SRH game

1. Sanju Samson (9.5 credits)

Sanju Samson, like the last few seasons, started this IPL with a bang as well. He scored 74 off 32 and 85 off 42 in the first two games, and was looking set to have a brilliant season. However, history repeated itself. In the last 4 games, Samson hasn’t even been able to reach double digits and his scores read a dismal 8, 4, 0, 5. While we shouldn’t forget that he is still a very talented batsman, it is also true that he is very badly out of form and short on confidence as well. Hence, it would be sensible to leave Samson out.

2. Kane Williamson(9.5 credits)

After an exciting 41 off 26 in his first game, Williamson has managed just 32 runs in the 28 balls he has played in the last 3 games. There is no doubt over Kane’s quality as a batsman. However, skipper Warner has preferred sending in Manish Pandey and hitters like Abdul Samad before him. This game also includes innumerable, in- form, top order batsmen. Hence, purely due to the dynamics of fantasy cricket, and options at our disposal, Williamson should be left out.

3. Ben Stokes (9.5 credits)

Rajasthan Royals have been waiting patiently for Ben Stokes to return to the side. As is evident, most likely he is going to play his first match against SRH. But, it is important to remember that Stokes is coming off a prolonged gap. The temptation of having an all rounder like Stokes in your team may be high, but Stokes would be rusty after having spent six days in quarantine, and may not be at his 100% best. Hence, keeping the emotions aside, logically, it would be better to exclude Stokes for this game.
