The 15th match of the Indian Premier League saw action between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Challengers walked up to get their third victory in the game against Royals, who were unbeaten in Abu Dhabi until now.
Batting first, the opening order of Rajasthan collapsed in the spur of the moment, courtesy deadly bowling attack of Bangalore. Steve Smith and the company stumbled on 31/3 but went on to post a decent 154 on board. The thunderous batting show of Bangalore fetched them victory by massive eight wickets.
Mahipal Lomror’s 47 off 39 was the only bright spot in Rajasthan’s batting line up. Star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal remained absolutely amazing as he conceded just 24 runs in four overs by picking three wickets. He was named the Player of the Match due to his commendable spell. Washington Sundar also remained impressive with the ball from RCB’s side.
Hunting the target, RCB batters walked up with all the intentions to rule the game like kings. Young Devdutt Padikkal again stole the limelight by hitting a significant 63 off 45. Now, what remained the best thing for the team was the fact that skipper Kohli seemed to have found back his lost rhythm. He remained absolutely stunning as he played an unbeaten knock of 72 off 53 balls. His form in the initial games had become the subject of criticism, but he has come up with a perfect reply.
RCB also paved their way up to the top of points table
Before the match, Rajasthan Royals posted on their Twitter that they have maintained 100 per cent record on the field of Abu Dhabi, and they are leaving it for RCB to see it. However, after RCB’s terrific victory against Royals, they decided to reply to the tweet in the best manner. RCB posted – “Anybody home? Helloooooo…!

RCB has already stated that they are looking forward to a great season as there is a fresh feel in their squad. The team stated that they have found the best balance in their team after 2016 and they expect to see good things coming up ahead.
