As Delhi Capitals take on the Mumbai Indians in the 13th match of the IPL 2021, fans will not miss an opportunity to witness a re-match of the final of the last season. Mumbai won that match with Rohit Sharma playing a good knock guiding his team under pressure in the final.

As these two teams are filled with stars, it is important for you to narrow down your list of players for fantasy teams. At times, it is important to note down players whom you should pick over certain players.

Here are the 3 players whom you should avoid in the fantasy teams for the match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals

1. Rahul Chahar

Now, this will be a bit confusing, considering the fact that Rahul Chahar has picked up seven wickets in his last three outings in Chennai. But, given the match and the players as options who can be picked from the bowlers’ category, Rahul doesn’t seem like the best option. Kagiso Rabada, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult are some of the bowlers who can be picked in this category. Additionally, there is an option of Ravichandran Ashwin, who will be playing at his home ground and could turn out to be a match-winner for Delhi.

Hence, if you are going to go with one spinner, it is better to place your bet on Ashwin rather than Chahar. There is another stat that doesn’t fall in Chahar’s favour and that is his record against Delhi. In the last three matches, he has only one scalp against them. This could be because Delhi has capable players of spin-bowling.

2. Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya has been slotted in the batsmen category for this season as he hasn’t bowled a single over in the IPL so far. Now, once you start picking your batsmen, you might realize that both the opposition have some quality top-order batters.

In Chennai, scoring runs early on has not been a massive issue. This favors top-order batsmen like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, in-form Shikhar Dhawan, and Prithvi Shaw. Given these options and considering that Pandya’s batting form hasn’t been so good in the tournament, it is a better option to avoid the Baroda player for now.

3. Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis’ bowling has been everything but effective so far in this season of the IPL 2021. He has not been trusted by Rishabh Pant a lot so far and he has bowled only three overs in three matches. On top of that, he bats lower down the order, meaning he gets lesser balls to face.

In the last match, he finally made a handy contribution with the bat but scoring runs with a good strike when the death overs are going in Chennai is not an easy task. Hence, with all-rounders like Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard, who have played on this surface before, it will be better to avoid Stoinis in this contest.
