IPL 2021: Aakash Chopra picks his ideal playing XIs for CSK vs KKR match

The 38th match of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will pit the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Both these sides are in ‘red hot’ form and have won both matches that they have played in the UAE leg of the IPL. This match will take place in Abu Dhabi.

And, ahead of this blockbuster match, cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra picked his ideal playing XIs for both these sides. According to Chopra, the KKR side is looking ‘as good as gold’.

Adding that the KKR outfit should continue doing what they are doing, the 43-year-old added that there is absolutely no need for Eoin Morgan and his men to tinker with their side when they clash against CSK.

Aakash Chopra feels that the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) side also does not need to change anything from their previous rubber. Chopra added that the only concern for the ‘Men in Yellow’ is the fact that their two experienced batsmen, Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni have not scored too many runs.

Chopra also opined that the likes of Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, and Dwayne Bravo have done a good job with the ball for the CSK side in the second leg of the tournament.

The Chennai Super Kings are comfortably placed at the 2nd spot in the IPL points table, having lost just 2 out of the 9 matches that they have played. The Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, are occupying the 4th position, having emerged triumphant in 4 out of their 9 encounters.
