IPL 2021: Aakash Chopra picks his ideal playing XIs for RCB vs SRH match

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 52nd Match of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). And, ahead of this contest between Virat Kohli’s men and Kane Williamson’s men, Aakash Chopra has picked his predicted playing XIs of both sides for this clash.

Chopra reckons that the RCB side has a good chance of finishing inside the top two in the IPL points table. Chopra wants the Bangalore side to continue playing the way they are.

Chopra revealed that he wants Dan Christian to be dropped from the RCB side, and feels that Kyle Jamieson should replace the Australian all-rounder in the playing XI. The 44-year-old added that the RCB side is playing like a mature cricket team.

Aakash Chopra feels the only thing that the SRH side has to do at this stage is to complete their league matches in the 2021 IPL season, as they have no chance of qualifying and are placed at the bottom of the points table.

Chopra added that if Kane Williamson and Jason Roy are dismissed early, then the SRH batting unit is crippled, as all the other batters are youngsters. Chopra feels that Umran Malik taking on Virat Kohli will be a ‘fantastic’ battle.

Chopra did not state any change that should be made to the SRH playing XI for their encounter against the RCB side. The RCB side will enter this clash on the back of three consecutive victories, while the ‘Orange Army’ has suffered 2 losses in their last 2 matches.
