This is absolutely a no-brainer that David Warner has been the trustworthy player of SRH since IPL 2016. Although someone like a Rashid Khan or a Bhuvneshwar Kumar can also be entitled as trustworthy candidates, with SRH’s batting being highly reliant on David Warner, undoubtedly he is the biggest asset of the franchise.
In terms of his batting record, David Warner has been the constant 550-run bank for SRH and collectively upholds a robust average of 56.79. By playing the anchoring role for his team, Warner is known to score at least 6 half-centuries in an IPL season. Also because of his vigorous gameplay, he accumulates more than 50 plus boundaries each year.
Yet again in IPL 2021, Warner will have to play his extensive role to continue SRH’s routine into the playoffs. However, in terms of taking SRH to win the IPL glory, his batting has to be reminiscent of his heroics in IPL 2016.
