Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders will play the 41st match of IPL 2022 on Thursday. Delhi Capitals are seventh in the points table with 3 wins and 4 losses in 7 matches. They have lost a few close games and have a very good NRR hence a win here would help them remain in contention for the playoffs. Kolkata on the other hand, after winning 3 of their first 4 matches have fallen down and lost their previous 4 matches which have kept them eighth in the table with 3 wins and 5 losses in 8 matches. Kolkata is in a must-win position and needs to put up a good performance.

Here are 3 players you can avoid in your fantasy teams for the DC vs KKR game:

1. Rovman Powell

Rovman Powell has struggled throughout the season apart from the previous match where he played a cameo lower down the order. In 7 matches so far he has scored 67 runs at an average of 11.16 and is batting low down the order. Given that Delhi is using him for the death overs Powell might not have much of an impact from a fantasy point of view. Hence avoid him for this match.

2. Venkatesh Iyer

He was a sensation in the previous season at the top of the order but has not been able to repeat his heroics this season. He has scored 126 runs in 8 matches at an average of 18 and batted in the middle order which has reduced his fantasy value. Also with him not being used with the ball it is better to ignore him.

3.Shivam Mavi

Shivam Mavi has been wayward in almost all the matches he has played so far. With just 3 wickets in 4 matches so far in this tournament he has not looked threating in any of those matches. There are plenty of better alternative choices in bowlers section hence avoid him and look at other players.
