Srikar Bharat is one of the most talented wicket-keeper batsmen on the domestic circuit. While playing for Andhra Pradesh, he became the first wicketkeeper batsman to score a triple-century in the Ranji Trophy in the 2014-15 season.

He was unknown to many before featuring for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) last season. In 2021, he featured in 8 games and stitched some crucial partnerships with AB de Villers. The 28-year-old came into the limelight in a match against the Delhi Capitals, where he scored an unbeaten 78 and finished the game by hitting a six.

This year, Bharat was bought by Delhi Capitals for a sum of INR 2 crore. He got 10 times higher than his base price at the mega auction but didn’t get a chance to play in the first week.
