Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals will be facing each other in the 15th match of IPL 2022 at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Lucknow has won two games this season and Delhi Capitals won one, while both teams lost only one game this season. Delhi Capitals finished third (lost both their playoff matches) last season, while Lucknow Super Giants are playing in their inaugural season.

Delhi Capitals will be playing their first game at DY Patil Stadium this season, while Lucknow Super Giants defeated SRH in their previous match at the same ground. DC have been chasing a target in the 170s in both their matches. Though they were successful against Mumbai Indians to begin their campaign, they couldn’t do it against Gujarat Titans in their second match.

Shardul Thakur is yet to pick a wicket this season, however, DC’s other pacers in Khaleel Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman began well. While Kuldeep Yadav began brilliantly, his spin partner Axar Patel is yet to pick a wicket this season. The return of David Warner could stabilize the top order, while the middle order looks powerful with Rishabh Pant and Rovman Powell. With Lalit Yadav getting to a good start this season and Shardul Thakur and Axar Patel also being capable with the bat, the lineup looks very deep.

Despite losing their first match against GT, Lucknow Super Giants have made a strong comeback by winning their next two games. The Lucknow Super Giants have a really strong batting line-up, with Manish Pandey being the only chink in the armor, having scored just 22 runs in three innings.

The lower middle order of Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya and Jason Holder form a destructive combo. Avesh Khan, Krunal Pandya and Ravi Bishnoi have began the season well with the ball, and the bowling unit has been strengthened with Jason Holder who took three wickets in his only match.
