Chennai Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by three wickets in the 33rd match of IPL 2022 at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. CSK captain Ravindra Jadeja won the toss and put MI in to bat. The match began with Mukesh Choudhary getting rid of Mumbai Indians’ top-three in Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Dewald Brevis in no time. It was Dwaine Pretorius who initially made CSK’s situation better, hitting boundaries off Unadkat and Jasprit Bumrah. With 17 required off the last over, Unadkat dismissed Pretorius on the first ball as MI’s triumph looked inevitable at that point. However, MS Dhoni brought back his vintage reputation and silenced his critics by hitting two boundaries and a six in the last over. As a result, CSK crossed the line in the very last ball.
