Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be facing each other in the 43rd match of IPL 2022, to be played at Brabourne Stadium. GT is playing their inaugural IPL season, while RCB reached the playoffs last season. So far in the current season, GT is at the top of the table with seven wins and one loss, while RCB is at the fifth position with five wins and four losses.  Both the teams have played once at the Brabourne Stadium this season, with GT defeating PBKS while RCB losing to SRH in their only match at this ground.

The opening pair has been very inconsistent for Gujarat Titans this season. Wriddhiman Saha’s fifty in the last game was a refreshing knock for GT and the wicket-keeper batsman would like to continue this form. The middle order of Hardik Pandya, David Miller, and Rahul Tewatia is in brilliant form. Rashid Khan has also shown that he is no less with the bat. Their bowling lineup of Mohammed Shami, Lockie Ferguson, Rashid Khan, and Yash Dayal has been good as well. The only issue is their express pacer Ferguson leaking a lot of runs at times.

Having been bowled out at 115 and 68 in the last two matches, RCB needs to work a lot on their batting. Their top-3 needs to score more runs for the team. Dinesh Karthik and Shahbaz Ahmed have been the only two consistent batters for them in the middle order. Among their bowlers Wanindu Hasaranga, Josh Hazlewood and Harshal Patel have been excellent this season.
