Team News: Both teams have opted for one change respectively. Gujarat Lions bring in Dale Steyn for James Faulkner while Sunrisers Hyderabad drops Ashish Reddy for Aditya Tare.
Gujarat Lions Suresh Raina says, “He’s (Jadeja) back. The wicket is slower and we wanted to bat first. So happy with the toss. Warner’s team has a good batting lineup, we have to make sure we have some total on the board.”
After winning the toss Mumbai skipper David Warner says, “Bowl because the wicket isn’t going to change. Winning the game helps. Wickets is the key to this format.”
Toss: Sunrisers Hyderabad has won the toss and have opted to field
Gujarat Lions, after a weeks break, return to their fortress, Rajkot to face the rejuvenated Sunrisers Hyderabad side. The Lions appear to be too strong if we have a glance at their current record of three in three wins. The SRH side, on the other hand, flunked in their first two matches before overwhelming Mumbai Indians by seven wickets.
