Home captain Zaheer said: “We would have bowled first. It is decent (the heat). 42 or 43 degrees. That is normal (Zaheer tells with a wry smile). The camp is feeling good. We are playing good cricket. Happy with the way things are going. What we are expecting is good energy. We have decided to make four changes. We have gone pace heavy. Duminy is under the weather and we had to make a forced change. Shami is in. Billings is making his (IPL) debut. Iyer and Brathwaite are also in.”
After winning the toss KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir said: “We will bowl first. The wicket won’t change much and we are chasing well. We have got three changes. Unadkat, Lynn and Shakib are out. Hogg, Chawla and Jason Holder are in. We have played some good cricket, rather than thinking about the previous match, we will look to focus on this.”
In match number 26 of IPL 9 Delhi Daredevils host the Kolkata Knight Riders at their home the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi. KKR won the toss and decided to bowl first.
