IPL 9 is now getting towards its business end when all teams are closing in to get to the playoffs stage. Rising Pune Supergiants is the only team that is out of the race for the playoffs. All other teams have their chances to make it to the playoffs. RPS suffered yet another crushing defeat last night to stay at the bottom of the points table. Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, have moved up to the 2nd spot. Sunrisers Hyderabad are on the top of the points table with 14 points. Gujarat Lions are also on 14 points but with a poorer net run rate. Delhi Daredevils take the 4th spot with 12 points.

If Mumbai Indians win the match today against Delhi Daredevils, they will swap places with them in the points table. It is a must win match for Mumbai today to stay in the hunt.
