IPL 9 is now getting towards its business end when all teams are closing in to get to the playoffs stage. The points table sees Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Lions take the top two positions with 12 points at the moment. A couple of more wins could almost guarantee them a place in the playoffs of the IPL 9. Delhi Daredevils lost their game against the Rising Pune Supergiants but still hold the 3rd position with 10 points and a better net run rate compared to the Mumbai Indians. Rising Pune Supergiants registered their 3rd win of the season and are placed at the 6th spot.

Tonight the Sunrisers Hyderabad will have an opportunity to swap places with Mumbai Indians in the points table if they beat the Gujarat Lions at Hyderabad.
