The 9th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has now reached a stage from where no teams can afford to lose matches. A defeat from here would only make things tougher for the sides in their road to the qualifiers. Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils are looking in great form and are the teams to beat at the moment. Gujarat Lions, having suffered a massive defeat, would like to get back to winning ways. Rising Pune Supergiants and Kings XI Punjab languish at the bottom of the table with just one win so far.

KKR sit comfortably at the top with 6 points and a healthy net run rate. Three other teams are tied at 6 points with the Knights, the Delhi Daredevils (3/4), Sunrisers Hyderabad (3/5) and Gujarat Lions (3/4). SRH have played an additional game. The bottom half of the table sees Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians tied with 4 points each. However, the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai have played 6 matches as against RCB’s 4. Rising Pune Supergiants and Kings XI Punjab languish at the bottom of the table with just one win so far.
