Irfan and Yusuf Pathan say that India’s future is very bright under Kohli’s leadership

Virat Kohli is due all the praise he gets. The Indian bowlers bowled exceptionally well to hand the team a 208 runs victory over the visiting Bangladesh side. India showed tremendous temperament while Bangladesh were batting and did not panic. Such performance was calling for praise by the whole world. And among them are the Pathan brothers Irfan and Yusuf Pathan.

The allrounder Irfan Pathan and the pinch hitter Yusuf hogged the limelight by their comments. They were of the opinion that Virat is the right man to lead the Indian cricket team and the future of the Indian cricket is in the right hands.

Irfan and Yousuf said, “India’s future is very bright under Kohli’s leadership.” The Indian cricket team is on fire at the moment. They have won eight of their last nine home games while one ended in a drawn against England at Rajkot.

The Baroda duo is currently working on different assignments while Irfan is a part of the West Zone squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali and has been bowling exceptionally. He dismantled the North Zone top order yesterday and returned with figures of 3/10 in his 4 overs.

Yusuf, on the other hand, is all set to become the first Indian male cricketer to feature in a foreign T20 league as he has been signed by the Kowloon Cantons for the second season of the Hong Kong T20 Blitz.

After the news broke out talking exclusively to CricTracker over the phone Yusuf said, “I am glad that the BCCI and Baroda Cricket Association have been kind enough to clear my request to appear in the Hong Kong T20 Blitz. It is an exciting tournament with some of the biggest players from around the world featuring there. I am really excited to be playing the tournament.”

“The experience there will also help me in my preparation for the upcoming IPL season. Will do my best for the Kowloon Cantons team,” the allrounder added.

The duo will be hoping to continue their impressive domestic performances and make their way back in the national team.
