Virat Kohli is ready to play his first match in this year’s IPL edition. The Indian skipper missed the first three games due to a shoulder injury and now he’s fit enough to play in today’s game against Mumbai Indians. The fans are eagerly waiting to see the skipper Kohli in the field and his presence in today’s match will boost his team-mates, who have lost two out of their three games in this year’s edition.

We all know that Kohli is a Right-handed batsman and a Right-arm medium bowler. But the official website of the IPL gave a twist by termed him as a left-handed batsman in his profile page. But later on they changed into the Right-hand batsman and put an end to this issue.

Kohli created a new record in the IPL 2016 edition and he scored 973 runs in 16 games, the most by any player in one edition of the tournament. It also includes 4 centuries and 7 half-centuries with an average of 81.08. He is only the second player in the history of IPL to cross 4000 runs, along with Suresh Raina.

The Chinnaswamy stadium will be eagerly anticipating the time when Kohli walks out to the middle. One hopes that everything goes ‘right’ for Kohli, both in his batting and in his captaincy.
