James Anderson completes 700 wickets in International Cricket: James Anderson became the 13th player to complete 700 wickets in International Cricket when he got the wicket of David Warner during the ongoing 3rd Test match against Australia at Birmingham on Day 2.
Anderson now became the 1st player from England to complete 700 wickets in International Cricket. The next English bowler with most wickets in International Cricket is Stuart Broad with 541 wickets, long way behind Anderson.
Anderson is now the 9th fastest to reach this milestone among the 13 bowlers. He one of the 8 pacers who completed 700 wickets in International Cricket and 6th fastest among those 8 pacemen. Muttaih Muralitharan leads the both most wicket takers list in International Cricket and fastest to 700 wickets in International Cricket by a huge margin.
So far, James Anderson picked up 413 wickets in Test Cricket, 269 in ODI format and 18 in T20 Internationals.
