Jos Buttler has been the core of the England team’s good form in recent times. Courtesy of some fantastic form in the Indian Premier League, the 27-year old wicketkeeper-batsman has continued his impressive form, something that has translated into a bevy of fantastic performances with the bat for England.

While the Brits, who are currently the number one ranked side in the world have been rampaging onward and upward, Buttler’s bat has certainly created some cause for attention. Of course, it is the same bat that many uses, but the slogan on top of the handle is something that caught the eye of many.

On the handle of his bat, there is a slogan which reads ‘F**k It’, someting Buttler claims is used to motivate him as he is batting. However, with the ICC rules and regulations, Buttler has gone on to state that he has not heard anything from the ICC regarding the slogan. He also threw caution into the wind when he said that he may very well need to change it. “No, I haven’t heard anything. Maybe I’ll have to change it to, ‘It’s coming home!” he said.

Buttler also went on to speak about his approach to batting. Similar to his slogan, Buttler said that if the slogan would become an issue, he could change it to something else with little or no worries.”No risk no reward, that’s what it means to me, and it’s in a pretty hard place to spot, and it’s been on there a long time. No one’s seen it before, and if it’s an issue it can be changed.”

In the first ODI against India, Buttler helped himself to a half-century, something that went in vain as the visitors completed a rather easy victory.
